Cheney Furious About Gun Control Proposal, 'Don't Take Away My 2nd Amendment Right to Shoot People in Face'

Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins caught up with former Vice President Dick Cheney at the Safari International convention for gun owners and manufacturers to discuss gun rights and the proposed legislation for gun control.

Jenkins started the interview by asking Cheney about his views on President Obama’s efforts to increase gun control and safety.

Cheney, who was wearing a t-shirt that read “guns don’t kill people, I kill people” was quick to respond to the question.

“These proposed laws are total bullshit.  The Obama Administration is starting a slippery slope here.  First they ban assault rifles and next thing you know, they are trying to take away my 2nd Amendment right to shoot people in the face.  Where is it going stop?”

When posed the question of what he would do if guns were banned in the United States.  The Wyoming Republican offered a pointed response.

“I don’t know.  I am an avid pheasant hunter and gun lover and could not bear to live without my shotgun 'Little Dick.'   I guess I would be forced to move to Canada.  I always wanted to shoot a Mountie or Justin Bieber, so I guess that option wouldn’t be that bad. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that and I can continue shooting old men and democrats here in the good old US of A, like god intended.”

Jenkins ended the interview by asking Mr. Cheney if he was doing anything to challenge these proposed regulations.

“Yes.  I have already shot 5 Democrats and 1 Republican in the face on recent pheasant hunting trips and have a few more outings planned in the next couple of weeks.  I believe this is helping, but I am only one man.  I have limited resources.  I am trying to recruit George W. and Carl Rove to help me out.

“I have also reached out to President Obama and his staff to setup a friendly pheasant hunting trip out in a secluded North Dakota field, but they have yet to accept.  I think they know that they are wrong on this issue and are just too cowardly to admit it,” Cheney said.

After the interview, Cheney had a little fun with the audience as he pulled an 85 year old man out of the crowd and demonstrated the correct way to shoot someone in the face without killing them.  The crowd loved it.
